This way of seeing forever
gardenia raised in the garden
or the slow flight of bees making a
mock orbit of tiny colourful suns, as the
palest blue Autumn days seem to cherish my
favor or countenance-
for in the heart we stand together.
Surviving the skeleton coast
the submission
of the water lily to the flood,
mysterious defiant hopes
spiral a whirlwind
of passion against
the torrent of rain and
cobalt ribboned
sky
